Founded in 1847, Wakefield Sports Club is one of the city’s longest-running and most respected sporting venues. Conveniently located in the heart of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, our club brings together a wide range of sports and social activities under one roof.
We’re proud to support thriving sections for Bowls, Hockey, Squash, Shooting, and Jazz, alongside modern facilities for Padel tennis, football pitch hire, and private venue hire. Whether you’re looking to play competitively, join a social event, or simply enjoy our welcoming atmosphere, Wakefield Sports Club offers exceptional facilities and a true sense of community for all ages.
We are centrally located in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, with excellent transport links and ample free parking between 4:30pm-11pm on weekdays, and all day weekends for all our visitors and members.
Parking is free after 4.30pm during the week and weekends only. Bank holidays are not classed as weekends so payment till 4.30pm is required. Parking is chargeable during the week from 6am-4:30pm
